    The University of Pittsburgh Department of Family Medicine has an affiliation with the Family Medicine Residencies in the UPMC system, which includes our program, UPMC Shadyside and UPMC St. Margaret. The three programs have over 80 family medicine residents and 7 fellows in various endeavors. Faculty from these residencies are intensely interested in teaching University of Pittsburgh students. The experience and depth of commitment of these teachers is outstanding.
