Biography
Gordon Liu, MD, AAHIVS is excited to be part of the faculty at UPMC McKeesport Family Medicine Residency. Dr. Liu is originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada and graduated with an Honors Double Major in Physiology/Psychology at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. He received his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies and completed his residency in Family Medicine at UPMC McKeesport. During his residency, Dr. Liu also received extra training. He is the first graduate of the program's HIV Primary Care Track and was also a graduate of the Global Health Track.

Currently, Dr. Liu is the Director of HIV/Hepatitis C Services at Latterman Family Health Center and also a Faculty Member in the Department of Family Medicine. He is also the Director of the HIV Primary Care Track for all 3 UPMC Family Medicine Programs and a Faculty Member at the Pittsburgh AIDS Center for Treatment (PACT) clinic, Department of Infectious Diseases, at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Liu was also appointed as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Infectious Diseases, University of the Philippines and works as a family physician at Elizabeth Township Family Medicine.

Dr. Liu's passions include primary care HIV and Hepatitis C, global health, office based procedures and preventative medicine. He has been living in the Pittsburgh area since 2012 and has enjoyed his time here. When he is not working, Dr Liu enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends. His interests include traveling, Disney, trying new foods, escape rooms, poker, karaoke, and sports (Let's Go Blue Jays, Raptors, and Leafs!).
